HOW THEY MET
Brittany and Nick met on an online dating website. They went on their first date to grab some drinks in the Union Square area on a mid November night in 2020. It was early covid, but they were lucky the weather was on their side and were able to sit outside and enjoy their first date.
They hit it off immediately and planned their next date, while still on their first! Over the next few months, indoor dining in New York shut down along with most other activities in the city that winter. They spent many of their early date nights cooking together, trying their hands at mixology mixing fun cocktails at home, and the occasional outdoor dinner (winter coats a must).
Once things began to open in the spring, they spent the next few months traveling everywhere from Montauk to Italy! Their first year together was two extremes in the intimate quiet months spent together from the start, to the busy months that followed, traveling and spending time with friends and family!
HOW HE PROPOSED
Brittany went over to Nik’s apartment on a Sunday night. He opened the door, all dressed up and had the room filled with candles. It was so intimate and beautiful as Brittany described it, and their Nik got down on one knee and asked Brittany to marry him. They called their friends and family immediately to share the exciting news! They ended the night having dinner and celebrating at a nearby restaurant in the West Village.
