HOW THEY MET
Melissa and Chris met their freshman year of college at Loyola University, Maryland.
FIRST DATE
Their first date was at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. Their plan was to walk around and browse in the stores, but they both got hungry and ended up eating at Chipotle (lol broke college kids).
FUN THINGS THEY LIKE TO DO TOGETHER
Melissa and Chris love going to Natirar for walks, (Natirar is a beautiful park located in Central NJ). They really love spending time watching sports together, fishing, going to the beach, going to concerts, and having a fun time trying out new restaurants!
THE PROPOSAL
Chris proposed on Loyola college campus, which was so special.
In August 2023, Melissa planned a weekend trip to Baltimore. Both of them love the city where they met, and they made a promise to go back at lease once a year.
Melissa created the entire itinerary of the trip, made dinner reservations at their favorite restaurants, and filled their days with their favorite things to do. They arrived on Friday and had a wonderful weekend exploring Fell’s Point and Federal Hill. On Sunday, Melissa planned for them to walk Loyola’s campus before heading home. It was a very hot day, so after walking the entire campus Melissa and Chris decided to sit on the quad in the shade to cool off.
As they were walking to one of their favorite spots to sit on campus, Chris stopped in front of Loyola’s chapel and proposed! Both of their families arrived shortly after the proposal to take pictures and Chris planned a nice dinner to celebrate.
