Wedding Albums are like fine china! They are a beautiful heirloom that will be created for you, but also, to be for your children and your grandchildren to cherish!
When I got married, wedding albums sure did not look like they do today! They were all film back then and the photographs slipped into little plastic pockets. Of course, that was all we knew back then. That being said, it is so much fun for Jeff and I to spend time looking through our album remembering that perfect day! And today, seeing our children enjoy it is also so wonderful. I know someday our grandchildren also will be blessed seeing their grandparents as young people. That is always so much fun! And now that I have grandchildren, it is even more special! LOL
As a wedding photographer I have to say designing a beautiful wedding album for my couples brings me so much joy. I cannot wait to sit down and start creating your storybook!!
Step 1: Choose your Cover Color in Linen or Leather The cover of your album is a big decision! So many choices, whether you choose leather or linen I love them both! For main album and parent albums there is an additional charge of $125.00 for the Luxe Leather I and II. If you choose Luxe Linen there is a $60.00 additional charge. All the Luxe upgrades do not apply for the Lite Albums.
Step 2: Choose your Cover Photo or Monogramming! (There is an additional $60.00 fee for a cover photo)
Why not add a petite 6×6 or 5×7 album for a parent! You can also have a parent album created in a 10 x10 or 9 x 12 album book as well.
Step 3: Album Design
On your wedding day the details are super important to me. I am actually already thinking about how your wedding album will look as I am capturing your wedding day! Choosing the images that will tell your story is filled with fun, but also it can get a little tough to just choose your very favorites! Then from there, I will design a beautiful layout that will work perfectly to tell your story in the most beautiful way!
PHOTO PICKING GUIDELINE
Girls getting ready – 1 spread (4-5 photos)
Wedding Details – 1 spread (2-4 photos)
Guys getting ready 1 spread (4-6 photos)
First Look 1 spread (4-6 photos)
Ceremony – 2 spreads (10-12 photos)
Family Portraits – 2 spreads (10-12 photos)
Couple Portraits – 2 spreads (3-7 photos)
Bridal Party – 2 spreads (8-10 photos)
Reception Details – 1 spread (6-8 photos)
Reception – 3 spreads (10-16 photos) All of my albums include 16 spreads (2 pages per side), 32 pages! If you find it too hard to narrow down your favorites to 65-75 photographs, let me know and we can talk about the process of adding additional pages to your album. Additional spreads are $100.00. We want to make sure that it is absolutely perfect!
Step 4: Review Your Album Once your design is ready, I will send you a slideshow of your pretty pages. Review your wedding album together, and make sure you both COMPLETELY LOVE IT! You will have two revisions. If you want to change out any of the photographs, this is the time to do it before going to print.
Step 5: Final Approval You LOVE everything about your album! Just sign off on the slideshow that you have approved it and want to send it to print! Once your album is ordered, no additional changes can be made. The only thing left to do is be VERY EXCITED about receiving your gorgeous wedding album! YAY!!!!
