When I first heard from Jackie about photographing her wedding I was immediately excited! This bride grew up in my neighborhood in Staten Island and I always love going back there to feel like I am home.
When we met for the first time at Skylands Manor for their engagement session, I totally tell in love with Jackie and Ivan. Their love for each other was just so beautiful and we were soon fast friends. I knew that their wedding day was going to be epic and it totally was!
We started out in Staten Island at Jackie’s parent home which was absolutely beautiful. The colors of the home were just perfect and the light was wonderful for photographing Jackie’s beautiful portraits. We had two twin flower girls and they were the cutest ever! I could not tell them apart.
Jackie chose a gorgeous wedding gown by Maggie Sottero and it fit her so perfectly. Her hair and makeup done by Bella Mastro was exquisite!
We then went to Our Lady Star of the Sea church where Ivan and Jackie were surrounded by their closest friends and family and said their vows and became man and wife! It was such a beautiful ceremony.
It was then time to find the perfect location for some bridal party fun and portraits. I found the most perfect little park where there was a beautiful historic old home that was the perfect backdrop for our very gorgeous black and white wedding!
After we finished our portraits, it was time to venture to New Jersey where the couple chose the beautiful Primavera Regency to spend the rest of the evening dancing and celebrating! It was a perfect day!
