WILSHIRE GRAND WEDDING//JACKIE + JON

Congratulations to Jackie and Jon who were married at the Wilshire Caterers this past weekend! Their perfect day began where Jackie and her whole family were able to be with her as she prepared for her big day! Hair and makeup was done so beautifully and the girls were so pretty in their beautiful mauve gowns that were created by Arlene’s Bridal Salon. Jackie’s gorgeous bridal gown was designed by Park Avenue Bridal and it was such a fairytale gown!

Jon was at his mom’s home just five minutes from Jackie where he and his besties shared some fun stories and enjoyed the beautiful weather outside on a very pretty deck.

It was soon time for them to arrive at the church where Jon would see Jackie for the very first time! Call me old fashioned, but there is something so sweet when the couple choose to hold off from doing a first look. I was overcome with tears myself seeing Jon’s beautiful smile and tears as he saw Jackie enter the church on the arm of her sweet dad. One of the things that I really held close to my heart was when Jackie’s dad Nick, embraced Jon so tightly!! It is such a beautiful moment when a dad is about to hand over his daughter to her beloved!

We spent our portrait time in beautiful Verona Park, in Verona, NJ where the foliage could not have been more beautiful! This bridal party was so incredibly sweet and they sure loved having a good time.

The night continued back at the Wilshire Grand Hotel where there was a large dance floor filled with people enjoying the night. I think Jackie was the one who danced the most!!

One of the things that really struck me during the entire day was Jackie’s appreciation for every last detail and whenever she would see something that was done in honor of her and Jon, it immediately brought her to tears of joy!
