I met Elyse through a mutual friend and immediately I knew that I would love to photograph her wedding. We had our interview and about two weeks passed and I had not heard back from her so I figured that I did not get the job! Well, sure enough I received a call from Elyse telling me that she and Anthony would love to have me be the one. They both wanted to do an engagement session so I suggested that we travel to Longwood Gardens. It was my first time there and it did not disappoint. We definitely got to know one another that day. I always tell my clients it is truly one of my favorites sessions and it really makes the wedding day pictures that much easier.
Soon it was time for the wedding and Elyse and Anthony were to be married at the church at Seton Hall University. The church carried its own beautiful charm and made for the perfect setting for their ceremony. Their priest had a beautiful sense of humor and laughter totally filled the church that day. The day was in November but it was unseasonably cold that day and well, Elyse and her niece were real troopers to brave the cold for some portraits. Anthony and Elyse were more than willing to brave the cold as well for their romance portraits we took on the beautiful grounds surrounding the church.
The reception was held at the beautiful Seasons located in northern New Jersey. The food was wonderful and the memories that were made that night were perfect.
Thank you Elyse and Anthony for the joy in capturing your beautiful day!
