Fabulous Aruba Destination Wedding
What an incredible trip! When Amelia and Brian asked Jeff and I if we wanted to join them in Aruba to photograph their wedding, we were like YES!!!
Amelia and Brian thought of everything for the wedding! Their adorable little welcome beach bags for their guest were filled with sun screen and lots of snacks. They totally thought of it all!
We arrived two days early to enjoy the festivities for some pre-wedding day fun! Amelia arranged a beautiful day on Flamingo Island where there are pretty pink flamingos roaming the beaches! We had a private cabana at the edge of the cove where all the bridesmaids decorated it with a Flamingo Theme. So so fun!!!!
The sun and turquoise water was the perfect backdrop for some epic photographs! We all had lunch on this beautiful island and spent the day feeding flamingos and having cocktails and champagne!
Next came the wedding day and what a day it was!! The girls got up early and were ready to start the day sipping champagne and enjoying their time together prepping for the big event.
Getting Ready at the Aruba Marriott
The day at the Aruba Marriott was filled with sunshine and warm tropical temperatures. The perfect setting for a gorgeous destination wedding!
The girls sipped champagne and listened to some island music as they prepared for a beautiful wedding day.
Her wedding gown was a Martina Liana gown which was made of antique lace and beautiful netting to frame her neckline. She wore some pretty little Gucci flats to compliment her dress and also to provide comfort seeing she would be getting married on the beach!
Amelia picked soft pink and white roses as her floral theme and the florist did a beautiful job. Shars Flowershop is a local vendor and did not disappoint!
Tropical First Look by the Ocean
Amelia and Brian knew that they wanted to have a private moment before their ceremony so they asked that Jeff and I would find the perfect location for their First Look.
We found a perfect spot by the ocean which had the most beautiful topography surrounded by pretty straw huts and sand!
Bridal Party Musings at the Beach
The fun continued when the bridal party all met at the pretty blue huts located at the beach. We were able to photograph some fun friend shots and some funny moments!
Tropical Wedding Portraits in Aruba
I have done so so many portraits for my couples on a wedding day and it is truly my favorite time to spend with them!
There is always so much going on that I love to pull them away and give them some private time where we can all focus on the LOVE!
Wedding Ceremony in Aruba
Amelia and Brian were joined on a beautiful beach in Aruba surrounded by their closest friends and family to join in to celebrate their marriage!
The minister that officiated the ceremony was dressed in the most handsome and colorful clothes I ever saw! He was sweet and kind and just wanted to celebrate the love of this beautiful couple! The ceremony was filled with fun and laughter as all celebrations should be!
Party Time in Aruba
As if the week was amazing enough, I just love that the wedding day ended with a gorgeous party at the beautiful pool located at the Aruba Marriott Hotel. It was covered with palm trees and the most beautiful decor ever!
It was quite an intimate party with 39 people that came to the island to celebrate Amelia and Brian. The music was loud and happy and the guests danced the whole time!
I got permission to venture to the roof top of the hotel to capture some gorgeous aerial photos and they are truly epic! It was so fun looking down from on high and capturing sweet images of the reception!
I am totally in love with the cake! The Pattisier which is a local bake shop did a beautiful job!
Amelia and Brian, Jeff and I cannot thank you enough for including us in this incredible wedding celebration! You made us feel like part of your wonderful family and we are forever going to cherish this time together! Many many Happy years together!! We love you!
