Claire and Keith met in the 5th grade and have been friends ever since! By the time Claire and Keith were in middle school, she developed a huge crush on Keith. She would daydream about him and doodle his name all over her books! (Sound familiar!!) She even had a code name for him with her girlfriends! In the 8th grade he finally asked her out! YaY!! That lasted all of a month; tragically it did not work out.

They stayed friends throughout high school and college. Keith went off to Stevens Institute and stayed in New Jersey while Claire went to Salisbury University in Maryland. They always made sure they would get together for lunch whenever they were home on break.

After college they ran into each other at an Oktoberfest and wondered why they were not dating!!! The next day they went to Chipotle and they were together ever since. As Claire and Keith would tell you "it feels like we have been together forever".

Keith proposed on September 10, 2016 which was just a few days after her birthday. She came home with a friend one night to her living room lined with 10 letters from Keith all about funny stories from their relationship over the years! As Claire opened each one and read them she could not stop laughing until she got to the last one and there was Keith's marriage proposal. When she opened her bedroom door there was Keith down on one knee!

When it was time for the planning of their wedding, they searched many venues but when they visited The Rock Island Lake Club located in Sparta, New Jersey they knew that this was the place!

On their wedding day, everything was perfect! The beautiful intimate dining area was perfect for their friends and family to party the night away! Their beautiful ceremony was held right at the lake where they exchanged their vows under a pretty wooden arbor filled with beautiful flowers!

One of the things Claire really loved about Rock Island was the bridal suite. It has a beautiful view of the lake and pretty and bright open space for all of her besties to enjoy their time together preparing for the big day! Claire chose a beautiful moncheribridal wedding dress and it was stunning! Her beautiful veil was trimmed with just the right amount of lace and complimented her dress so wonderfully! Claire is a gym teacher and what is the best thing to buy for a gym teacher, sneakers! When she went shopping for wedding sneakers, she found those adorable sparkly keds!

After the girls were ready, Claire and Keith chose to do a first look! As Keith waited patiently for Claire out on the dock, Claire snuck up behind him and the magic began! They spent the next hour or so doing their portraits with family and then it was time to take it to the altar!

A close friend officiated their ceremony and they laughed and enjoyed every moment! From there, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Herman started the party and there began their forever!
