Emma and Taylor first met at their high school homecoming dance. They had been friends for quite awhile before going out on their first real date! Emma had some serious food allergies back then so a date was somewhat challenging as far as eating at a restaurant went. They chose a casual nice Italian restaurant that they thought would be okay…..so they thought!
Their order turned out to draw two different waiters and the actual chef to join them at their table to figure out what would be best for Emma! As far as coming across as high maintenance failed! Nine years later Taylor still laughs about it and now, with no allergy issues, Emma and Taylor enjoy going out to dinner quite often!
Emma enjoys running so it was not long before she was able to hook Taylor into joining her in her love for running! They also enjoy exploring NYC restaurants and enjoying wine!
THE PROPOSAL
While on vacation in Napa, they found many wonderful vineyards to visit. It was a dream vacation and the thought of Taylor proposing came as a complete surprise!
While finishing lunch at their second wine tasting, the people handed them a glass of wine and asked them to take a stroll through the property. Seeing it was so lovely, Emma never thought twice about what was about to happen!
As they reached the top of the garden where they were totally alone, Taylor told Emma how much he appreciated her making this fabulous trip happen. He also said he had actually planned one thing. All of the sudden he got down on one knee and asked Emma to be his wife!! It was beautiful, intimated and a total surprise which was what Emma always wanted!
