A springtime engagement session is always a delight for me! I was so excited when Sherilyn and Kyle chose the beautiful state park Waterloo Village as their special place for their engagement session! It turned out to be a beautiful and glorious morning even though when we arrived it was raining!
HOW THEY MET
Sherilyn and Kyle both are track coaches and one day while they were both coaching at a meet, Sherilyn happened to notice a very tall and handsome coach! Several months later, as Sherilyn was out in the field she heard a loud shout calling “Coach”! She started to think, “well it certainly isn’t me, there are about 300 coaches out here”. All of the sudden she turned and saw Kyle calling her name! She was thinking what possibly could he want? He approached her and started to tell her what an amazing high jumper she had and then proceeded telling her all the things she could do to help him! Sherilyn of course thought, all he wanted was to talk shop!!!
At the end of the instruction he boldly ask her, “are you seeing anyone”? She quickly responded no! They exchanged phone numbers and they had their first date hiking! Sherilyn did mention that she was taking a chance going to a remote place to hike with a guy that was much bigger and stronger than she was, but it all worked out!
Outside of absolutely enjoying hiking and the great outdoors, they spend their time cooking together. I cannot wait for their beautiful wedding this coming November!
