Megan and Billy wanted a perfect fall wedding day. Choosing the beautiful Hudson House located in Jersey City, New Jersey definitely fulfilled all of their dreams.
Talk about the perfect weather! It was a sunny and bright day with temperatures around seventy five degrees. In New Jersey it is always questionable in the fall with rain.
They started their day in the beautiful Hyatt Regency located in Jersey City and overlooking the river. The girls had a beautiful view of the city skyline. Megan and Billy chose to do a first look out on the pier. I loved Billy’s reaction when he first set eyes on Megan.
We had plenty of time so we captured so many beautiful portraits on the pier and also in various locations on the property. Soon after, the family and the bridal party joined us out on the pier to complete our time of portraits.
Upon arriving at the Hudson House, we headed into the bridal suite to capture some beautiful bridal portraits for Megan. The rooftop at the Hudson House has the most spectacular view of the New York city skyline. One of my favorite places to take my couples is this particular rooftop.
The ceremony took place alongside of the Hudson House with the skyline once again as our beautiful backdrop. I loved that Megan’s Uncle James was the officiant at their ceremony.
The night was filled with lots of dancing and celebrating. It could not have been more splendid!
