Laura grew up a minister's daughter. Her life was surrounded by the love of music found in every member of her family. Her father, Pastor John, is an accomplished concert pianist, among playing many other instruments and has an incredible voice! Laura sure did not fall far from the tree.
With a love for music and for education and a passion for singing, she quickly fell into her God given gift. She is an accomplished opera singer and now has earned a degree to teach music. She is also an amazing violinist.
Sean growing up in Montana, also have a love for learning and education, he and Laura found much in common. He came to New Jersey to continue his education in Christian studies. He felt called to the ministry and so he found himself in New Jersey interning at Long Hill Chapel in Chatham, New Jersey.
He decided to sign up for a course at a nearby church in Morristown, New Jersey taught by Pastor John. And now we see where there meeting takes place! Little did he know that there was his future bride waiting for him.
During one of his classes, Laura happened to walk in! He was immediately interested in the lovely lady who entered. Little did he know at that moment she was Pastor John's daughter. As weeks went by, Sean decided to ask Pastor John if he could ask Laura out. Of course, Pastor John was thrilled to say yes. After spending so much time with Sean, he was delighted at the thought.
Laura also had been interested in Sean, so when he asked, she immediately responded yes. There first date was a wonderful connection and soon many more followed. About ten months after their initial date, Sean was sure that Laura was the one to be his wife. After asking for permission to marry her, he proposed. He had arranged a beautiful meeting in a local Morristown park and had his friend Brian hiding in the bushes to snap a few photos of the happy event.
I had know Sean from church and had developed a friendship with him. Seeing he was living alone, the mother in me would have him over to our house to share dinner sometimes. Once engaged, I wanted to give Sean a gift of an engagement session. I at this point had not met Laura so I was thrilled to meet her and capture their engagement. They chose the same park where Sean proposed.
On our first meeting, I fell in love with Laura! Their chemistry was beautiful and photographing them was magical to say the least.
After receiving their images, they asked if I would photograph their wedding day! I was so honored to be the one. They chose the Brook Lake Country Club as their venue and were married at Long Hill Chapel in Chatham, New Jersey.
Their wedding day was filled with dancing and lots of entertainment. One beautiful moment was when Laura's brother James, wrote a song for them and performed it during the reception.
Sean decided to accept a job back in Wyoming. Several weeks after their wedding they packed Laura up and moved her to Wyoming. There they are residing and enjoying every moment!
