Morgan and Steve met in their sophomore year of college. They developed a fast and wonderful friendship. In the beginning of their senior year is when they shared their very first date.
Their wedding day was filled with plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures. Everyone was all together at one hotel to start the day. I loved that both Morgan and Steve were able to spend their whole day with their family and friends.
They decided to head to the venue for their first look. There nestled between the tall pine trees, Morgan and Steve shared a private first look. I was so moved by the tears that they both shared. After their first look we enjoyed one of the many beautiful locations for portraits! But this spot happens to be my favorite!
Morgan told me about her vision for her day and well it all came together perfectly. I love the beautiful blush tones that created the perfect color palette.
I just adore it when my couples tell me all the details that they have poured so much time into making the day so special. I especially love the story that Morgan’s mom shared with me. You see when she was married some thirty years ago, there was a piece of ivy in her bouquet. Well wouldn’t you know that Morgan’s grandmother took that ivy and rooted it and it soon grew into a thriving plant. And yes!! that little snip of ivy in Morgan’s bouquet came right from that plant! How amazing is that! Another special heirloom is that Morgans rings were Steve’s grandmothers diamonds.
The night went on with the most joyful moments. They dancing was so fun and it was such a wonderful thing to watch Morgan and Steve enjoy every moment!
Congratulations Morgan and Steve!!
