The sun was shining so brightly on Susie and Tim's beautiful wedding day. Tim and his best friends were gathered together at the home that he grew up in. Many great memories surrounded them all as the wedding day started. The guys enjoyed a few beers at 9:00 a.m. (yes you can do that on your wedding day!) We spent a few hours photograghing lots of fun moments. Tim was so happy that this day had finally arrived.
Susie and Tim never really had a "first meeting", they lived just two miles apart and were always in each other's lives. Chance encounters at baseball games, Christmas tree farms, and church, their lives seemed destined to be intertwined. High school sweethearts, they have always stayed close together even though they lived around the country being separated for many years.
Twelve years later, they got engaged in January on a snow-covered road in Vermont. After a weekend skiing at Okemo Mountain there came an overnight snowstorm which set the perfect scene for their weekend.
One thing through the years that Susie always wanted was her dream bike! Tim decided to surprise her and make that dream come true! He custom designed this beautiful white cruiser and then hand-built the pretty crate that sits just on the handlebars and to top it off, he burned a personal inscription in the bottom of it. The bicycle made a very pretty presentation at the reception held at the beautiful Ryland Inn located in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey.
For Susie, her idea for the perfect wedding was carefully thought out and planned for a long time. She loves things that are soft, and light and airy and pays attention to details!
I arrive at The Heldrich Hotel located in New Brunswick NJ and found Susie and her best friends buzzing around with so much excitement! The hotel was so beautiful and the room was bright and surrounded with lots of windows. The girls were given beautiful robes and one of their very special gifts were hand-made embroidered handkerchiefs by Susie's grandmother. That was so sweet and precious to have received something so priceless from her.
The hours passed by so quickly while they enjoyed some champagne and got hair and makeup done for this very special day. Susie's vision came to life through the floral designs that Tracey Reynolds of Trfloraldesign created. There were hanging floral gardens at a few tables at the venue and the tablescapes were stunning!
It was time to leave for the church and Susie and Tim decided to do a first look in the pretty gardens at St. Francis Cathedral. From there Tim and Susie waited patiently for this moment to actually happen. The ceremony was beautifully presented and they exited as husband and wife!
And now it was off to The Ryland Inn located in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey. This venue had everything that Tim and Susie had wanted for their celebration.
The rest of their evening was filled with dancing and great food and most of all love! Susie and Tim danced the whole night away enjoying every moment of their fairytale wedding day! I was so honored to be a part of this couple's gorgeous wedding.
Congratulations Susie and Tim! Your Ryland Inn Wedding was a dream come true!
