THEIR LOVE STORY
Allie met Dre through her neighbor’s cousin who Dre was living with before they started to date! Dre is also best friend’s with Allie’s brother!
These two have so much in common. When I asked them what they enjoy doing together, it was study! Yes, Allie is just finishing up graduating as a Physician’s Assistant and Dre just received his Graduate Degree in Financial Accounting!
When they are not studying, they enjoy cuddling and watching movies together! They also enjoy trying out different cuisines and enjoying them very much!
One funny story that Allie shared was that Dre took her to Denino’s Pizza ( I know this pizza and can confirm it is awesome)! He knew how much she loves pizza and wanted her to experience his favorite! They have known each other for many years so going on a date was very natural and easy. After pizza, they headed back to Dre’s apartment and Allie came down with a horrible nose bleed! Dre had used his shirt to help with her nose bleed to stop the bleeding!
THE PROPOSAL
For years Allie wanted to take Dre ice skating because he had never been. They always said that they would go to Rockefeller Center, but they never got around to it. The day that Allie arrived home from PA school for her first ever break, Dre made plans for them to go ice skating at Rockefeller Center as a way to celebrate. She was so excited. After a few hours Allie was totally over the skating and wanted to leave, but Dre insisted they stay til the end of the session.
At the end of the session, Dre asked a security guard to take their picture. All of the sudden the security guard escorted everyone off the ice except for them. She heard a song come on by Frank Sinatra “The Best is Yet to Come”. Dre turned to her and asked if she liked the song and he then got down on one knee and she could not believe her eyes!
When she looked up top of the rink, there were both of their families screaming and waving to them! When Dre placed the ring on Allie’s finger it did not fit!! Between the laughter and disappointment in the ring not fitting, she still insisted on wearing it to show it off! It was a magical night for sure!
