Pam's mom would always tell her, "keep your heart open for you never know when love is going to come in". After 10 years of being a single parent and raising three children, her mom's advice seemed a little far fetched to her at the time. Between working full time and raising her kids she never stopped to think that there would even be time for love.
Morgan, also a single parent was feeling the same way. With his busy schedule and raising three children he never even thought of having time to date. In the past, he had tried some of the dating online services but just never seemed to find the right one. A few years ago he decided that he would give it one more chance. Little did he know that Pam also had decided to jump on the dating website at the same time.
As fate would have it, they found each other. Their first meeting was at Starbuck's. When Pam walked in she spotted him sitting across the room and recognized him from his picture. The minute she saw him those schoolgirl butterflies hit her. Talk about a little nervous! Pam joined Morgan at the table and they sat and chatted for a long time getting to know one another. A question that Morgan asked her during their time together was if she would ever consider getting married again. She thought it was a little strange at first that he would ask her that on their first date, but soon realized how important that was to Morgan and actually to her as well.
They continued to see each other and on each date they grew closer and closer. It soon became clear that they were falling in love. Thinking about the future, they knew that they wanted to share their lives and raise their children together.
Their favorite place to be together was always at the beach. Every chance they would get they would head to the shore or sometimes even to an island for a special occasion.
Two years had passed when Morgan decided to propose to Pam. He actually chose a spot in Long Branch NJ on the beach at McLoone's Pierhouse. Pam knew that this was the man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with.
Once the wedding plans began , McLoone's seemed like the perfect place to be married. On the beach!!! They were able to reserve the venue for their wedding and reception. Pam and Morgan decided that their children would be their bridal party and Pam wanted a wedding with all that she had dreamed about.
Everything was so perfect! She wore a beautiful Casablanca Couture wedding dress and she was stunning to say the least.
One of her favorite moments that day was when her dad came to her room for their first look. It was so sweet and special for many reasons. There were lots of sweet tears.
Their wedding ceremony was officiated by their dear friend Pastor Tim Daniels and they were surrounded with all of their family and friends. The afternoon was a delicious brunch and then they danced the afternoon away! The beautiful couple with enjoy a honeymoon in St. Lucia.
