When I first went to visit Shenorock Shore Club, I was so taken with the fact that it reminded me so much of Aruba! Hard to believe that this beautiful venue is nestled along the coast of the Long Island sound.

Alex’s Uncle John has the cutest little cabana situation at the end of the shore club right besides the beautiful tree lined shore and to make it even more picturesque, the long pier was right at our fingertips! I knew immediately that we would spend most of our day right there!

Alex started her day at her cousin’s beautiful home located just five minutes down the road. The girls had so much space to have hair and makeup done as well as sharing meals together and quite a bit of laughter!

Byron and the guys were over at Shenorock enjoying the beautiful view on the deck and the day could not have held more beauty in temperature and sunshine!

I must say that the bridal party was so much fun! Everyone was connected in so many ways. I love to hear all the stories of their friendships. Byron’s two brothers were his best men and Alex chose her best friend to stand and be her Matron of Honor.

We were able to do so many different and fun portraits during our bridal party time, portraits for Alex and Byron and of course, the most beautiful family portraits. Did I mention how in love I am with that gorgeous tree? I called it a Divi divi tree which it clearly was not, but it reminded me of those trees indigenous to Aruba!

They chose a beautiful ceremony location in a wooded area just off the sand and it was the perfect setting! Alex’s brother officiated the ceremony and he delighted the audience with the cutest and funniest stories of he and Alex as children.

The rest of the day was filled with good food, dancing and partying into the night. The band, Sultans of Swing, kept the night lively and filled with dancing.

Congratulations Alex and Byron! Your wedding was so dreamy and we were blessed to be a part of it all!
