HOW THEY MET
Tom and Lexi met at one of Lexi’s friends sweet sixteen party back in 2009. As Lexi would say, “Tom didn’t pay any attention to her at the party and she was like what is going on?” LOL! Lex says she thinks that is why she was drawn to him!
Later that same day, Lexi asked an acquaintance of theirs what Tom’s AOL username was (very old school) and she messaged him. This was the beginning of how they started their friendship!
Tom has never ever given up on Lexi. He has had her heart for 13 years. It is such a beautiful love story of how their love has stood the test of time. I just know that their beautiful marriage will be so precious and special!
THEIR FIRST DATE
Seeing they were still so young the cool thing to do was to see a movie together. They saw the movie Avatar for their very first date! The sequel of Avatar will be coming out in December, so I can just bet Lexi will be taking Tom to see the sequel for sure!
Lexi and Tom love cooking together and just relaxing and watching a favorite TV show together, Sundays are always football! They love their precious fur babies and both enjoy times with their family and friends!
THE PROPOSAL
Lexi had always told Tom that if he proposes one day that she wanted her family there. Her mom, dad and brothers have been such a big part of watching Lexi and Tom become who they are today so she wanted them to be a part of the happy moment!
Tom told Lexi that they were going to dinner at their favorite restaurant, Danny’s in Saratoga, NY. Lexi thought it was just an early Father’s Day dinner, but it was not! They brought a big cooler in to the place and balloons were hidden inside. When Lexi opened the cooler out popped the balloons which said Will You Marry Me? It was truly the very best surprise engagement ever!
Congratulations Tom and Lexi! Next year will be the best year yet! We cannot wait to celebrate!
