When I arrived at Fiddler’s Elbow I found a beautiful room filled with joy and excitement happening. Brie, her mom and mother in law were all busy getting their hair and makeup done. Brie has two sisters that were her maids of honor and her sweet younger sister who happens to be a twin, was her flower girl. Our other twin was her ring bearer and he surprised us all by coming in with the coolest sunglasses and carrying a very special case where Brie and Michael’s wedding rings were securely held in place in the custody of this young man!
I love when my couple chooses to do a first look. My favorite place at this beautiful club is on one of their very beautiful bridges nestled in between many fairways! Michael and Brie were very emotional and when Michael presented Brie with a surprise wedding gift the tears came! Michael gave Brie a gorgeous diamond necklace that he then placed on her neck. It was so totally romantic!
We had so much fun with the most lively of bridal parties! I loved the color palette that Brie chose. The classic black tux and the sweet dusty blue gowns made for a very formal look.
For our portrait time alone, we decided to sneak away in a golf cart and wondered pretty far out into the fairways. We had no idea where we were going! It was quite the adventure. We stumbled upon the most beautiful tree and some pretty fields and we decided this would be the perfect spot! Wait til you see all the photos from there! Truly gorgeous!
The ceremony was so beautiful. Brie’s Aunt was their officiant and I just loved some of the sweet stories she incorporated into the ceremony. Brie and Michael love the beach so they chose to do a sweet jar of sand exchange.
The night went on with so much dancing and fun and the speeches were so heartfelt and funny! I don’t know if alot of people now are having live painters but Brie and Michael chose one and wow!! So so special! I loved Brie’s reaction when she saw the painting for the first time! We actually made her close her eyes until she was right upon it!
Brie and Michael spent their honeymoon in Spain and Italy and will settle back in New Jersey to begin their married life together!
