Lynn and Joe had gone to high school but really did not know each other. It was not until ten years later that fate would bring them back together! Their engagement was about a year ago when all of the pretty details for their wedding started!
THE DETAILS
They both grew up in south jersey so they wanted a special place to gather their closest family and friends! One of their favorite restaurants is the Wine Bar located in Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey. This town has the prettiest little Main Street I have ever seen! The marina sits about a half mile from the Wine Bar and there is such a pretty little hotel called The Blue Bay Inn right across from the Wine Bar. It was like one stop shopping for sure!
Lynn works for Anthropologie and well, that always means to me beautiful style and beautiful details!!! She could not have picked more beautiful details! Be still my heart, I could not get enough! Her gorgeous wedding dress was the Leigh Gown, an exclusive BHLDN wedding gown. In case you didn't know, BHLDN is the wedding store of Anthropologie. Oh my goodness, the lace was exquisite. Her beautiful shoes were gold and had pretty little bows on the back complimented by a few dainty pearls! They were made by Kelly & Kate. I loved that Lynn incorporated a beautiful fur lined black leather jacket with her dress! It was such a unique look for sure! Every detail was perfectly planned for her special wedding day!
Joe had a beautiful suite made by Gianni Custom Clothiers. It was a sharp blue color and it was gorgeous! I just love how custom suits inscribe your name on the inside pocket.
Lynn and Joe did not have a traditional bridal party so it was so much fun just focusing on them! They did their first look in front of their other favorite restaurant. It was actually raining during that time, but I have to say that the umbrellas added such a beautiful look to all of the photographs and it did not spoil a thing! During our time outside for portraits we found the most beautiful archways to sneak into and create some magic!
THE CEREMONY
Their sweet ceremony took place at the Wine Bar and they had 35 of their closest and dearest friends and family gather around them as they said their vows and became man and wife! They had everyone crying, especially me! And the nicest part of their ceremony was that Joe's brother Michael was the one who married them!
THE RECEPTION
Immediately after the ceremony the party began! The cocktail hour was delightful and the food was amazing. Soon the rest of the guests started to arrive and Lynn and Joe greeted each one as they entered the room. The evening was filled with lots of dancing, lots of hugs, and so much happy! I loved that Lynn and Joe got to enjoy every single minute of their wedding day! Jeff and I were honored to have captured this beautiful couple's wedding day! We have some amazing new friends! Congratulations Lynn and Joe, we love you!!
