When Nicole and Michael contacted me I was delighted! They are a NYC couple and are so much fun! I knew that we would have a wonderful engagement session in Central Park and I was totally right!
They met in June 2014 at a Business Associate Program and when Michael saw Nicole from across the room in a sea of business suits the first thing he noticed were her legs! When he managed to work up the courage to approach her they hit it off immediately, but just as coffee buddies!
They started dating in 2016 and well here we are at their beautiful black tie wedding and it could not have been more elegant and perfect!
GETTING READY
Nicole decided to keep it low key with not having a bridal party, but was joined in her dressing room by her two closest friends from college and her very sweet mama! Her wedding gown was just divine! It was a Matthew Christoper design and it fit her so beautifully! I loved photographing every detail of her beautiful dress. She work light blue Valentino studded heels and wore her hair loosely curled!
She chose Fleur Du Mois from New York City to create her floral design and they did an amazing job for sure! I highly recommend them. Their attention to detail was impressive to say the least! I so enjoyed meeting them and working together.
THE FIRST LOOK
They totally were all about having a private moment to see each other before walking down the aisle. The Castle Hotel and Spa has the most beautiful grounds and we were able to find a private stone walkway for them to share this moment! It was so beautiful!
THE CEREMONY
As their immediate family and all of their friends started to arrive, I could tell immediately just what a beautiful family they have and enjoyed meeting so many of them. The ceremony was set up overlooking a pretty veranda. The trees were just starting to pop and the weather was perfect! A bit windy and Nicoles's veil at one point took flight but we managed to capture it! Michael's best friend was their officiant and it was super special when he pronounced them man and wife!
Following the ceremony we spent a good amount of time photographing all of the family portraits and when we were done, we spent some alone time capturing Nicole and Michael's beautiful love!
THE RECEPTION
The Castle Hotel has a beautiful room with vaulted ceilings and framed in the most beautiful woodwork. It lends itself to a beautiful room that is very old and has a lot of history for sure. I just loved how intimate it was. Everyone could be close by and they certainly danced the whole night away!
THE HONEYMOON
Nicole and Michael chose to take a trip over to Europe to enjoy their honeymoon! Congratulations guys, it was truly an honor!
