HOW THEY MET
It was back in college when Lindsay and Greg met each other! They became immediate friends and enjoyed each other’s company whenever they were together. They soon realized just how much in common they had. It soon became apparent that they were meant to be!
When Lindsay and Greg reached out to me and told me their wedding vision I was totally thrilled to be a part of their special day! They lived in New York City until their jobs transferred them to London, England. As much as they love living abroad, they wanted a NYC wedding for sure. They actually lived in downtown Manhattan for five years before moving to London.
When they found the Liberty Warehouse, they knew that this was the place! It has a beautiful warehouse feel but at the same time, a classic vibe for sure. Lady Liberty sits right outside of the venue and that was pretty cool watching her all day.
GETTING READY
When I arrived in the morning, there was already a wonderful sense of excitement in the bridal suite at Liberty Warehouse. Lindsay was surrounded by all of her besties and everyone was listening to some great music and getting all ready for the big day!
Lindsay chose a gorgeous wedding gown designed by Sassi Holford who is a London based designer. It was truly classic and reminded me of something Grace Kelly would have worn. Their hair and makeup aritist Beautini did a beautiful job with the vision Lindsay had.
One of the highlights of the day was the florals that were designed by United Floral Events. They turned the Liberty Warehouse into a gorgeous and elegant garden filled with white and green florals. I just loved Lindsay’s bouquet so much!
Lindsay chose a beautiful pair of Manolo Blahnik wedding shoes and wow, did they sparkle! Our groom and groomsmen wore gorgeous Hugo Boss Black tux and they looked super sharp! Her bridesmaids wore some very pretty Denmark Blue Jenny Yoo gowns.
After all of the getting ready, Lindsay and Greg were ready to see each other privately for their first look. I loved the way Greg would just stare up and down at Lindsay. And Lindsay was just as smitten. We were able to do our family portraits and bridal party portraits before the ceremony. We had the perfect weather that day.
THE CEREMONY
They were married out on the patio with Lady Liberty in the background. United Floral Events created two gorgeous arches filled with white florals and lots of pretty greenery which was so pretty as it framed the Statue of Liberty!
THE RECEPTION
Our couple chose an awesome band The Hank Lane Band to fill the evening with some incredible music. Everyone danced until around 3:30 a.m. The party went well into the night and it was a wonderful night to remember! The happy couple will be going to Vietnam for their honeymoon!
