HOW THEY MET
Kevin and Madison both went to school in New York City at NYU. They actually met over 6 years ago at a mini-golf event, where Kevin immediately partnered himself with Madison! Madison had mentioned that she just changed her major to photography, not aware that Kevin was a film major. This, of course, led to a most vibrant conversation that they both still remember to this day!
The night came to a close and actually Madison had a boyfriend at the time. Madison left thinking a lot about Kevin and went home and told her roommate all about this fascinating man that she had so much in common with! Especially they both love mini golf!
Their paths did not cross again until three years later, when they ran into each other at a bar on Kevin’s birthday which was just a few weeks before they both graduated. Madison was newly single and thought that buying him a drink to celebrate his birthday was the least she could do. (She actually did not want to take any chances that he wouldn’t take advantage of their second chance at meeting).
The beginning of their relationship was right out of a romantic comedy actually; they bumped into each other with their families on the street just days before graduation, after hours of our mom’s continuously asking about this guy/gal we’ve been seeing. Later that same week while leaving graduation at Yankee Stadium, mind you 30,000 other people all there, they looked up on the slam packed subway car and there they see each other again, mom’s unknowingly side by side.
After not even seeing each other once in three years, here they kept running into each other. They started dating and they have been inseparable ever since.
THE PROPOSAL
Kevin proposed to Madison at the mini golf course where they first met 6 years ago. He told her that they had some time to kill before dinner with a family member and Madison did not suspect a thing!
At the end of the game, after playing in 90 degree temperatures and conveniently taking way too long to finish (he had to make sure the photographer was in place) he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him!
After that, he surprised her with a party with all of their family and their friends on the rooftop of a friend’s building where they kicked off there newly engaged lives! Congratulations Kevin and Madison! I cannot wait to celebrate your beautiful marriage next September!
