Kristin and Joe met in military flight school. They truly are a couple that shares so many things in common like enjoying a fabulous meal, traveling and especially serving our country.
Kristin’s wedding day started out in her childhood home in Williamstown, New Jersey. The day was perfect in every way! It was supposed to be a rainy day and it turned out to be a sunny and beautiful day to celebrate!
GETTING READY
The first highlight of the day was that Kristin’s mom made all of the centerpieces, bouquets, and boutonnieres. Everything was handmade out of wood and they were spectacular!
Kristin was blessed to be surrounded by her amazing bridesmaids that saw to every little detail to make her wedding day perfect!
Kristin chose a beautiful wedding dress created by House of Wu which was the perfect fit! To compliment her beautiful dress she chose to wear the most beautiful Kate Spade Keds. Comfort and style was high on the list! Joe and the groomsmen chose sharp navy blue suits complimented by burgandy suspenders to bring together all the colors of the day. At Scotland Run the ceremony space was beautifully decorated by A Garden Party Florist.
Kristin had the sweetest first looks first with her dad and then with Joe. To utilize the beautiful surroundings of the gardens, we were able to take some fabulous photos of the dress, the wedding party and, of course their sweet pups!
I DO
Their ceremony was officiated by their two best friends who interspersed great moments of humor as well as wonderful stories about Kristin and Joe. In attendance were so many of our brave men and women in the military that were there to share in this very special day!
THE PARTY
Kristin and Joe entered the room for the first time as Mr. and Mrs. and were greeted by some of their brothers and sisters-in-arms who performed a very special Arch of Swords Ceremony.
After this spectacular entrance, Kristin and Joe shared their first dance to the song, “Forever After All” by Luke Combs. Kristin and her dad chose the song “I Loved Her First” by Heartland which always makes me cry!! Joe and his mom chose their favorite song “ You’ll Be In My Heart” by Phil Collins. The dances were so moving and special. Following the dances the speeches were so heartfelt and there were not many dry eyes in the room. The night was filled with good food and all the guests danced the night away to the sounds of SnackBar Jones.
Kristin and Joe it was such an honor and privilege to capture your beautiful wedding day, and thank you for serving your country!
