HOW THEY MET
Andrew and Lindsey met at a Sushi Bar in Staten Island where Lindsey grew up. She was in graduate school for speech pathology and Andrew was nearing the end of medical school. The cutest thing that Andrew did to impress Lindsey that night was he took a napkin out and drew a picture of the central nervous system! She will never forget it!
They dated for a long time, most of the time spent long distance which presented many obstacles that they had to overcome. They managed to make it through all of the things that were difficult and finally knew that they were meant to be together forever.
They are both workaholics as Lindsey puts it. So when it comes time to enjoy their precious time together, they enjoy traveling, going to romantic dinners, going to casinos, going on cruises and most of all they love to dance! I don't think they sat down once during their wedding reception! And they both enjoy singing to each other, Lindsey in Italian, and Andrew who sings her Spanish love songs.
THE WEDDING
When it came time to think about planning their wedding, they both decided to not have anything big or fancy. They just knew they wanted to be married and be together forever. After thinking about the wedding, Lindsey and Andrew decided to have a small and very romantic and intimate wedding celebration.
They wanted a church wedding so they started their day at the parish Lindsey grew up in and there they said their vows and became man and wife. From there, they found the perfect venue to celebrate. When I first visited the Casa Belvedere I fell in love with it. It sits high up on a hill overlooking the view that leads straight to the Verrazano Bridge which is so gorgeous. The details and decor well elegant and romantic which fit Lindsey's vision perfectly. Did I mention that she has exquisite taste? Well the pictures will show that for sure.
The party was filled with wonderful music, great food, and so much love and joy. It was truly such an honor to be a part of this beautiful couple's love story.
All in all, it was a perfect day for a beautiful celebration for one of the nicest couples I have ever known!
Congratulations Lindsey and Andrew!
