HOW THEY MET
Alex and Shannon met in college (they lived in the same dorm). They dated a few times in their freshman year and always kept in touch.
Believe it or not, their paths crossed again ten years later and they have been inseparable ever since!
They had their first date at the William Vale Hotel in Brooklyn. It was so memorable, that they have decided to have their wedding there!
Shannon and Alex enjoy cooking together and they love to garden! I hear that Shannon has an amazing green thumb!
HOW HE PROPOSED
As Alex tells the story, she stated that there are very few true surprises in life, but Shannon managed to completely surprise her! To the point of being shocked!! They had not even been dating a full year! When you know, you just know!
Shannon designed an absolutely stunning ring from Alex’s favorite jewelry designer, Jemma Wade. It is a “Toi-et-Moi ring (French for you and me) so it has 2 stones, one an emerald and one a diamond! It captures Alex’s personality so beautifully!
Their vision for their engagement session had always been to be on the. Brooklyn Bridge seeing they live in Brooklyn! It was such a magical shoot!
