HOW THEY MET
Jess and Anthony met at Bar A at the Jersey shore on the 4th of July! They were both with some friends when Anthony spotted Jess across the bar. He chose to seek out a friend of Jess and told her he would like to buy Jess a drink. She agreed and they spent the whole night chatting. They stayed in touch and it was soon clear that this was more than a friendship!
THEIR FIRST DATE
Their first date was meeting for Monday night football at a bar in NYC. Jess was quite nervous on a few levels, but first off, she was nervous taking the NYC subway for the first time. She spent her trip on the phone with her friend who helped get her to her destination. She chose not to mention that to Anthony! She wanted him to think she knew her way around the city!!
HOW HE PROPOSED
Anthony and Jess were vacationing in Berlin, Germany when Anthony proposed!! Anthony had scouted out the perfect location to pop the question which was to go to a Biergarten that overlooked a lake in a beautiful park on the second day of their trip.
They sat on the dock of the Biergarten and enjoyed some German beers and pretzels while taking in the serene moment and enjoying the view of all the colorful fall trees overlooking the lake. They decided to take a walk around the lake, and as they were walking they came across a quiet park bench off the path on the edge of the lake. They thought it would be nice to sit for a little while. When Jess sat down on the bench, Anthony got down on one knee and asked Jess to marry him!
Jess and Anthony love cooking together, especially with some Frank Sinatra music! They love to travel, enjoy trying new restaurants, comedy shows, snowboarding/skiing and spending time at the Jersey Shore.
I love that they chose the location of Jersey City to have their engagement session. We started out at the beautiful NYC skyline and then had the best time in Van Voorst Park. Their beautiful wedding will take place at the Hudson House, located in Jersey City.
