A good friend of mine passed my name onto Michelle when she was inquiring about a wedding photographer. I am so happy that we found each other, not only did I get to capture her wedding day, but I also have a wonderful new friend!
We met in Chester, NJ to chat about her special plans for her intimate and private wedding ceremony. It sounded so special and I was thrilled to be a part of it. She had wanted a photojournalistic approach to her day and I was glad I could do just that for her.
Michelle and Greg met 5 years ago at a Halloween party hosted at the Parsippany Hilton attending a Chiller Theatre event for the holiday. He was dressed as a vampire and she was a marine. As Michelle put it, she was bit by the vampire!
They both love to cook together and spend lots of their time hanging with friends and family. Michelle has a little family of chipmunks that she gets to somehow care for. Nature lovers for sure!
The ceremony was very important to Greg and Michelle and being nature lovers and all, they chose the Freylinghausen Arboretum in Morristown NJ for their ceremony. A beautiful white gazebo was the perfect setting for their beautiful exchange of vows and then some pretty portraits with family followed. We also uncovered a sweet nest with baby birds that joined us for the ceremony! The wedding was so lovely, perfect weather and it was truly a beautiful display of their love for each other.
Their party celebration will be next month when all of their friends and family will join them to continue the celebration!
