Nicki and Kevin met over President's weekend 6 years ago on a ski/snowboard trip in Scranton, PA. Their two friends who are now married invited them both away with them for the weekend. I guess you would say it was a setup!!!

They got to spend some time talking that weekend and some how they ended up on the ski lift together alone. They exchanged phone numbers that weekend and ever since then they have been dating.

Now the fun story about the proposal. I am such a romantic and I so enjoy my couples sweet stories of their engagement.

Kevin proposed on Nicki's birthday at the end of May this past year. She was actually shocked!! He took her to a new little restaurant in Hoboken NJ on the water (They love being close to the water). Kevin was quite busy on the phone during their dinner which sort of did get Nicki a little annoyed. As it turned out, Kevin keeping in touch with Nicki's brother in order for the next part of the proposal to take place.

After dinner, they took a walk out on one of the piers, something they often do! He asked Nicki to look through the observation viewer after he did to see fireworks in the next town over. When she was finished looking she turned to find him down on one knee with a sweet little box that lit up. She was so stunned as he was that they both said it was like they blacked out for a moment, but of course she said yes!

Kevin asked Nicki to look up to the sky and what she found was so sweet. Her brother (who is in production) was there with his crew and she saw the drone which hovered above them and their whole proposal was captured on film. It was the best night of her life.

Afterwards, they met up with some friends and celebrated at a local bar all together. Their beautiful wedding day will be June, 2017.
