This has been a very busy year for me. First my daughter got engaged and soon after our son Jeffrey also got engaged. To say the least, it will be a very busy year for the Ryan family. We are beyond thrilled for both of them. Being a wedding photographer you absolutely cannot photograph their weddings, but I was blessed when Kaitlin and Andrew asked me to photograph their engagement session and when Jeffrey and Maria asked me also, well I was a very happy mama for sure!!!
Jeffrey and Maria were both attending Gordon College in Massachusetts when they met each other in sophomore year. Jeffrey was very taken with Maria and it took a few weeks but he got up the nerve to ask her out to get some coffee. Maria said yes and they actually spent some place around four hours drinking coffee and talking the whole time. Jeffrey then asked Maria on a second date and soon they started dating. They spent the next two years getting to see each other all the time and when Jeffrey graduated and moved back to New Jersey it was then that they started their long distance relationship. Maria graduated the year after and remained in Boston while Jeffrey lived in New Jersey. They made it work so well that they are now engaged!! They will be getting married in the summer of 2017 and we all cannot be more excited! Welcome to the family Maria.
