I have known Joe for about 18 years. We have been neighbors all of that time. He is an incredible father and a good friend. He has raised his three beautiful children as a single parent for many years and I have watched his children grow up into three amazing young adults!
Karen also has three beautiful children. As a single parent she herself keeps very busy. They both decided to try match.com to see what was happening in the dating world!! They found each other and on their first date Joe brought Karen an apple! (Karen is a school teacher). Such a sweet gesture for sure!
After sometime dating, Joe proposed and thought it would be super awesome to get married and combine their families. A little Brady Bunch action for sure!
When they contacted me about doing their wedding, I was so thrilled with the idea. I was so excited to be the one to capture this "beautiful match made in heaven day". I was so delighted when they agreed to do an engagement session. I just knew that they would be so much fun (Joe always saying something to make me and Karen laugh the whole time)!
I was thinking that Cross Gardens Estate would be the perfect place and when Karen called me she asked if we could do the session at Cross Gardens! They had their second date there so I thought it would be totally cool to go back there.
Our session was so relaxed in every way, from the sweet surroundings to the sparkling apple cider that they shared, we spent the time getting to know each other and getting comfortable in front of my camera. We had so much fun and I am in love with their images!!!
They will be getting married in July, 2017 and I cannot wait!!
